The Scottish Hang-gliding and Paragliding Federation (SHPF) exists to represent the sports of hang-gliding and paragliding within Scotland. We are a voluntary group of flying enthusiasts who represent a number of constituent Clubs and Schools. The SHPF is a member of the British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA), which represents free flight sports at the national level.
The SHPF sponsors a number of events such as reserve repacks, safety and coaching courses, and competitions. See the events section for full details. Benefits we provide to our members include a Zoom account and free web hosting for our member clubs.
